Meet Rufo again. My 16 years old German brakko born in our house in Venezuela, South America. He and his mother traveled with us by airplane in 1999, that was a wonderful trip! This was the last time we took him for a walk, fall 2007. He's not going for long walks anymore, his back legs are not holding him up for long periods of time much less for a long walk like he was used to. Let's face it at 112 human years I bet you wouldn't go for long walks either. His spirit is intact and yes he still thinks he's a puppy! not mentioning his hunting spirit. He can't see a squirrel or rabbit without looking at it with the "I'm going to get you" eyes and posture, just like in this painting. He was looking at a small dog. He wasn't going to eat it, just wanted to play with it in case you wondered ;)
