This painting although small in size took me a while to paint, mainly because of the amount of detail it has. I reached a point in which I had to stop thinking about the people I was painting and paint the shapes and colors I was seeing, many times turning the board upside down to focus on the shapes. I found this lady at the Romeo town fair, the small town where Kid Rock is from, this past summer, and as I was taking the picture I thought how incredible and spontaneous the scene was. She's just sitting in the wagon waiting for her kids.
